Is the procedure painful? A slight discomfort may occur
but usually
topical anaesthetics
are used to minimise discomfort. Do

have a choice of colour
and
the placement of pigments? Yes, the Client and
Technician will discuss in length the treatment and area(s) of
implantation, shape and colour or colours to be used. When agreement
has been reached then a patch test is implanted and an appointment
made. Will
I need time
to recover and what is
involved? Every
person is different, nevertheless there can be slight swelling, redness
and bruising of the skin. The treatment area needs to he kept clean
and moist with antiseptic moisturising cream.
THE TREATMENT
The
SofTap™ Hand Tool method is unique, as shaped needles are used to implant the pigments. The
needles lift the skin very gently which allow the pigments to be
placed easily and comfortably beneath the skin. This method produces
almost no, or very little swelling, bleeding and minimal discomfort.
